Construction may be underway at the Wickenburg Art Center, but Wickenburg’s creative spirit hasn’t slowed down.
The Wickenburg Art Club’s newest exhibit and sale, West of Center, is now open at the Sigler Western Museum’s Cultural Crossroads Learning Center. The exhibition showcases an engaging collection of work by talented local artists and offers visitors another opportunity to experience – and purchase – original art created right here in the Wickenburg community.
Celebrating Wickenburg’s Local Artists
West of Center: Highlights from the Wickenburg Art Club features an eclectic collection inspired by the people, animals, landscapes and unmistakable character of the American West.
From expressive portraits and colorful musicians to inquisitive burros, desert wildlife and sweeping Arizona landscapes, the exhibit reflects the variety of subjects, styles and perspectives found within Wickenburg’s thriving arts community.
The exhibit is also a sale, giving visitors the opportunity to take home an original piece while directly supporting local artists.
Creativity Continues During Construction
While construction continues at the Wickenburg Art Center, the partnership with the Sigler Western Museum provides a welcoming temporary setting where the community can continue enjoying local art.
The Cultural Crossroads Learning Center offers an ideal backdrop for West of Center, bringing together Wickenburg’s artistic talent and Western heritage in the heart of downtown.
